## Short answer

At Kazan Delicacies, a food manufacturer in Tatarstan, Russia, we deployed a read-only AI Commercial Director. It monitors product catalog and price-list changes, structures market and product hypotheses, and prepares owner-only management briefs. Operational analysis and a one-time authenticated private Telegram test were verified on November 1, 2026. Regular reporting was enabled but long-term effectiveness has not yet been evaluated. No profit increase, revenue attribution, time savings or financial ROI is claimed.

## Three use cases

### Catalog and SKU change monitoring

The agent uses an approved product and price data source, checks freshness, compares successive states, records relevant changes and avoids duplicate events. Ambiguous product identity still requires human review.

### Product-market research hypotheses

Existing market research is organized into candidate products, market segments and buyer types. Evidence gaps are explicit; an unverified hypothesis is not presented as real demand. There is no new paid online research loop in every scheduled cycle.

### Private management briefings

The first test message reached an authorized private recipient after identity and chat-type checks. Daily and weekly reporting was enabled in an existing schedule. This proves initial delivery, not months of operating performance.

## What the agent cannot do

The first version does not autonomously modify prices, send messages to prospects, negotiate contracts, initiate payments, operate manufacturing equipment or assert actual gross or net profit. Cost and sales accounting are outside the present analytical scope.

## Implementation principles

1. Start with one narrow and accountable business process.
2. Identify a trusted source and test data freshness.
3. Prefer deterministic checks for record changes and idempotence.
4. Label AI research hypotheses separately from verified evidence.
5. Keep consequential commercial decisions under human approval.
6. Deliver concise outputs in an existing management workflow.
7. Measure operational quality before making ROI claims or expanding access.

## Measurement to come

Establish a baseline for report preparation time, catalog errors, alert precision, review latency and commercially relevant outcomes. Measure later business effects only with validated cost and sales data.
